[CASE FILE: DRF-001]
Alias: FLESH_001
Status: ARCHIVED / BIO-HAZARDOUS
Originally discovered deep in a commercial cave system in West Virginia by unlicensed recreational cavers. The anomaly emerged from the limestone wall structure, activated by rising temperatures linked to climate change.
Initial host was consumed and replaced internally. All organs became liquefied, replaced by autonomous tissue mass. On contact with further hosts, the entity merged bodies into a singular organism. By hour six, subject was unrecognizable as human.
The entity was subdued using high-grade accelerants and flame application. A single sample was recovered: visible components included intestinal tissue, hepatic matter, vascular sludge, a cephalopod-like structure, and one facial remnant. All parts were genetically distinct—indicating multiple hosts.
