[CASE FILE: DRF-001]

Alias: FLESH_001

Status: ARCHIVED / BIO-HAZARDOUS

+ Origin Summary

Originally discovered deep in a commercial cave system in West Virginia by unlicensed recreational cavers. The anomaly emerged from the limestone wall structure, activated by rising temperatures linked to climate change.

+ Biological Behavior

Initial host was consumed and replaced internally. All organs became liquefied, replaced by autonomous tissue mass. On contact with further hosts, the entity merged bodies into a singular organism. By hour six, subject was unrecognizable as human.

+ Containment & Extraction

The entity was subdued using high-grade accelerants and flame application. A single sample was recovered: visible components included intestinal tissue, hepatic matter, vascular sludge, a cephalopod-like structure, and one facial remnant. All parts were genetically distinct—indicating multiple hosts.

[UNAUTHORIZED DATA LEAK - DRF INTERNAL]

Message from: Alan R. (Senior Lab Technician, DRF)

If you're reading this, I’m probably already gone. DRF doesn’t forgive betrayal. But I can’t stay silent after what they did to Jenna.

She was more than my colleague, she was my closest friend and the love of my life. She deserved so much better than to be another “containment loss” footnote.

I’ve copied everything I could before security found me. These files show the truth about the escape. If DRF gets their way, humanity will never know until it’s too late. Jenna, this is for you.
